Ceramic Tiles
Ceramic tiles are made from white or red clay “biscuit” with a coloured glaze on top, and are one of the oldest forms of tile, having first been made thousands of years ago. They are very versatile, coming in a range of different finishes and can be used in all tiling situations.
Porcelain Tiles
Porcelain tiles are fully vitrified, meaning they have been baked under pressure at very high temperatures. This produces a hardwearing tile, with colour baked right through the biscuit. Porcelain tiles come in different finishes, including polished, honed or “roccia”, which is a rough-finished surface. Their strength makes them ideal for commercial or heavy-wear situations.
Natural Stone Tiles
